Triangle Generation Humanitaire is French NGO working all over the world and one
of our fields of acting is the integration of children and young people into
different sphere of social life. We made different cultural and educational
programs in Yemen, North Korea, Iraq, Kosovo and Metohija, Albania, West Sahara.
Triangle’s project “Youth Centers” in Serbia was based on the needs and
necessities of the most vulnerable and endangered group of our population –
children. Therefore, project aims to help and support all children regardless
the level of their vulnerability although a special attention is paid to the
most endangered ones like IDPs, refugees and Roma community. Their integration
among other children and, along with it, into the local environment is important
not only for them and their families as individuals, but for the whole society
and its future.
At this moment, two Youth centers, registered as local NGO, are running very
well in Zemun (Belgrade surrounding) and Vrnjacka Banja (central Serbia). With
the support of French Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Swiss Agency for Development
and Cooperation and British organization War child, started in November 2001, we
succeeded to create these two magnificent “shelters” for children and to make
them independent in their work, creativity and new ideas.
With donation that we have until the end of May 2003, Youth centers will
increase the quality of their work even more, in order to become integral,
self-reliant and self-sustainable entities. On their way to reach that point,
they need to be supported after May 2003, too.
That is why we are addressing to you, as a potential partner. Please, take in
consideration all the aspects of the existence of such kind of “institution”,
because that is what Youth centers really are, and if you find out that you
could help us, do not hesitate to contact us in our office in Belgrade.
Sincerely,
Typhaine Hoenner, Head of Mission
