Conference: Macedonia and its place in the Balkans, Krakow, 11-12.12.2003

  Institut of Political Science and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University and the Central European Commission of the Polish Academy is honored to invite to participate in a conference on  Macedonia and its place in the Balkans - history, politics, culture, art. Probable date of the conference December 11 and 12, 2003.

  Conference will be divided into the following thematic groups:

  A/ the most important ivents in the history of Macedonia (XX and XXI century); people, conflicts, idees
  B/ literature, folklor, lanuage, cultural life - perspectives and developement:
  C/ social and political movements:
  D/ close neiborhood, national minorities:
  E/ Polish - Macedonian contacts

5th CEI Summit Economic Forum (SEF)
November 13-15, 2002, Skopje, Macedonia
Application deadline: September 15 (for discount fee)
The Forum is linked with the CEI Summit Meeting of the Heads of Government and will attract industry leaders, senior government officials from the 17 CEI member countries (including ministers of economic sectors), international organisations, and hundreds of businessmen. The Forum is focused on the needs of the entrepreneur investing in Central Europe.1200 participants are expected to take part in about 40 specialised events (panels, seminars, interest groups, exhibitions, project room, receptions).200 journalists will provide a multiplier effect for statements and press-releases of participating organisations.
